Nico had to drop cargo, and this area is not an airfield it's a rocky uneven beach and you're being hit with 30 knot winds, make a simple roll for it.

The threshold for this sort of thing is rather small, I don't recall your dicepool off hand but you could probably just buy the hits needed.

I believe that since I was jumped in, the pool was like 14, which would be 2 short of buying Hard difficulty outright, so I may as well just do that.

I didn't ask, it was said that it could be possible to buy the hits and confirmed as possible once I gave the pool. Is it my fault that the other one just rolled without checking into that? No.

One rigger is simply landing, the other rigger I asked to roll for deploying 8 tonnes of cargo and keep his craft stable in 40 knots of wind, slightly different circumstances here.

You know that automatic sucess rule are mostly used for really big dicepools. And that avoiding roll in such situation also means avoviding the possibility of glitch. But it`s your call.
