Looking for some clarification. I understand that Magic Resistance adds dice to a character's Spell Resistance Test pool, even if it is a "friendly" spell. However, considering illusion spells are resisted by those who see it, what is the effect of Magic Resistance when trying to cast Improved Invisibility on the character? By the rules, it seems that the "target" gets additional dice to resist the spell, but success in resisting simply grants that character the ability to see through the illusion of invisibility...meaning he can see himself? Don't others still need to resist individually when looking at him? Is there instead an additional Spell Resistance Test to see if the Invisibility takes hold at all?
Thanks in advance for your input.
