Title: LFP: Shadowrun MUSH team
Post by: Henryknox on <08-23-12/1723:30>
Hey,

EST based player here, and I play on the shadowun denver game (aelfhame.net port: 1999, it's a mush i think, definitely not a mud),  and it has it's pros and cons and they're in flux like any game, but I'd like to keep the discussion on topic for what I'm looking for:

Several dedicated, lower powered teammates for several stories/missions linked in an overall arc. I will GM them, or we can take turns. I play a face/fixer on the game  denver.wikidot.com/char:Knox (http://denver.wikidot.com/char:Knox) and have two regular teammates but with time zones it can be difficult (a mage and another face).

I'm heavily influenced by the standard noir/cyberpunk stuff Neuromancer, Count Zero, Mona Lisa Overdrive, as well as the George Smiley Novels, and James Ellroy's Underworld USA trilogy. Visually I look at Shadowrun as a cross between new york city on a friday night, Blade Runner, and the movie Heat.

The team is called "Simmons Corp" (full logs attached) http://denver.wikidot.com/the-simmons-corporation-llc (http://denver.wikidot.com/the-simmons-corporation-llc) and I'd really like to have a regular team decker and a gunsel/ex-company man/street samurai type character to round out the roles.

Alts are allowed to play on Denver, so you can always create your uber tough mage-gunbunny, but I'd like to have a well balanced team both in terms of thematics and skills.

-Knox

Obviously, I'm going to be your decker, Knox!

You already know me on there as Dasyus.  Now its time for me to re-learn decking in 3rd!
