I will be starting a new SR4 game on Wednesday evenings at a local gaming and comic shop called "The Dreaming" here in the University District in Seattle, WA.
The game will most likely start around 6pm and last for about 3 to 4 hours.
The "Wednesday night gaming" held at the shop is intended for new players and players new to the system, and as such anyone and everyone is invited to join.
Note however, that due to the "newbie" nature of the game night, pre-made characters will be provided by me, the GM. There should be quite a few to choose from.
Furthermore, I will most likely not be allowing custom PC's in order to maintain a balanced power dynamic between characters and a friendly and fair playing environment.
If you really want to make your own, I would recommend sticking to the PACKS character creation system, but even then I may say no to the toon. Or I might say yes, who knows. =)
Sorry to be so strict, but we really want to make sure that everyone gets to shine and have fun rather than having one person get all the time in the spot light.
As far as I know there is no limit to the number of open slots for this game, but I am hoping to limit it to about 5 or 6 players per team.
If we get enough for 2 full teams, I will be running each team on alternating Wednesdays, effectively making the game an "every other week" instead of "weekly" occurrence.
If that happens, I plan on having the 2 teams stories intersect and weave around and eventually merge, but we'll see how that plays out.
