Whenever I put cyberware on my char, in chummer, I get a negative on my agi from 5 to 4. I currently have cyber eyes, a full obvious cyber arm with customized agi 6, and an obvious skull. Does having cyberlimbs always bring your agi down? I made sure to get a better cyber arm, does this not matter?

Cyber limbs average the stats of all other limbs.
-
What are all your attributes and limb attributes (including the skull)?
-
The skull is just whatever the basic one is. My attributes are:
BOD: 3
AGI: 5
REA: 2
STR: 3
I did not realize it took a skull cyber limb into the agi equation as that has nothing to do with AGI.
EDIT:
Yep, took the skull off and it is normal. Had no idea that the skull mattered. Thanks for the help.

There's a setting in the Chummer options to turn off including the Skull in the calculations, by the way.
I don't know why having it included is the default, though, since Torso+Arms+Legs is the standard interpretation.

I don't much care for the cyber limbs, so it doesn't bother me any that the skull goes into those calculations, but for those who do like the limb replacements, I can see how they could get annoyed with it. That said, I'd probably stick with the base rule on the matter if for no other reason than to give another reason besides essence not to get cyber limb replacements for every limb. I definitely would look sideways at someone who tried making the "cyber arm of awesome" that I've seen mentioned here.

What, you don't like the BD 9, ST 9, AG 9 cyberlimb with Spurs and an integrated gun that can throw 17 dice for hitting an enemy in melee and then deals atleast 8 points of damage without calculating your net hits or the opponents throw?

Yeah the cyberlimbs are due to background of being a bomb disposal expert who had an "accident." So am I running with the cyberlimb schtick. While I would never dream of a starting char with the cyber arm of doom. It is certainly something to look forward to farther down my career. It all became moot anyways as I did not realize that a skull cyberlimb was availability 14 and unavailable to my char anyways.

Take Restricted Gear. 5 point positive quality to have an item up to availability 20 and can be taken up to 3 times.

Might want to go with a Brain-in-a-jar using a humanoid android body, then. Need a little more flexibility from the GM on resources, but would be much less of a pain overall.

Yeah, there is that, but making a cyborg does take a lot of allowances from the GM due to availabilities and costs. Heck the cost to be in a CCU is quite a bit more than what you can get resource-wise in char gen.

Not to mention the drones designed for cyborgs are usually much higher than the resources or availability allowed for chargen, as well.
