Looking to feed my Shadowrun addiction since it's been a while since I last played, any groups out their looking for an extra player? If not, I'm always willing to GM and start up a group if their are other stragglers out there in or near NYC that need a group.

I dunno if there are any over there, but I think you would be interested to know what happens to New York in Shadowrun (If you don't already)! Read the Rotten Apple: Manhattan. It's a great sourcebook.

Languish? You responded after an hour of it being put up :o It wasn't exactly what I'm looking for on this post I guess I'll respond about that specific book being a New Yorker... The book feels really... "Tourist-y" LIke the writer didn't know too much about the area or visited for a short period of time and didn't actually explore anything else besides the tourist attractions on Manhattan Island, I mean why would there only be a book for JUST Manhattan and not the rest of the boros that make up NYC? (Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island) There'd be tons to detail from Spirits to Gangs and even roaming nomads and such outside the safety of Manhattan Island into the slums/ruins of what wasn't given the Corporate treatment after the earthquake. It's just a "meh" setting book :-\

I'm also putting together a game in New York. I'm taking over for a GM that decided that he wasn't ready to run, so I'm still piecing everything together. We are still deciding on the time, and will likely be playing over Skype (with support from a campaign Wiki).
I'm pretty open with what the players want.

Hey -- if you're still looking, you should go poke around nerdnyc.com Besides being a fairly reliable place to find cool people, I think I remember seeing a couple of Shadowrun games forming in the "Games Seeking Players" section under "Roleplaying Games."
If I had the time, I'd love to play myself. I've been reading tons of character builds and getting a serious itch. But my life is too crazy right now.
