As the subject says. I'm open for comment and recommendation. The goal by the end is to provide guides that help players (and maybe GMs) understand using the matrix without running into pesky copyright issues. (along the way I'm refining my own knowledge. I've already found a couple of things I knew that weren't so.)
So, no numbers.
Part one is a Matrix Overview.
Part two is Matrix Defense for the Meat, er, non-Hacker/Rigger/TM.
Current plan for Part three will be Matrix actions for the Meshed.
If I can't fit TM in part three, I'll do a part four on the 'mancer.
Current plan for the final part will be tips, some of which will be repeats from previous parts.
Again, input, comments, recommendations are appreciated.

Sorry, I know better - two download files, no temptation?
Here's the summary from the Meat's Guide to matrix Defense:
SUMMARY:
Restating the defenses
If you're not going to use it, turn it off.
If it needs to be on, set it to hidden.
Search the matrix for records of you: delete and change as necessary.
Use as powerful a signal as you need; no more, no less.
Encrypt the signal.
Always run best possible firewall, analyze, and stealth.
Use the best operating system (pilot or system) you can get.
The mandatory security suite is firewall, analyze, and stealth; maximize it.
The recommended optional security suite adds an agent that watches for hackers and can run IC.
If successfully hacked, switch to AR, initiate reboot, and jack out; don't wait for cybercombat.
Require the highest possible authority for remote commands and access; at least security, preferably admin.
Databomb the nodes and critical files in your PAN.
