I was wondering, is there a master list of all the positive and negative qualities that a character can take, either publshed or has someone compiled one at some point? With them scattered through the books it can be difficult to track down what you need or even remember everything that is available.

Runner's Companion, Page 120.
Well, it's only a list, but at least it tells you where to find everything.
-
Thanks very much, its a good start.
-
It's not a perfect list, though. It doesn't have stuff that came after it was printed. I don't know if War! or Attitude have qualities in them, but there are definitely some in Way of the Adept that aren't in the companion.
-
and street magic was also after it I think. That's the problem with those lists and it's the same problemwith the excel character sheet I have. I doesn't have the newest stuff unless I add it myself.

Street Magic came out *RIGHT* after the SR4 BBB.
In fact, for the longest time, they were the only two Shadowrun RPG books around...

Fairly certain that the only qualities missing from Runner's Companion's master list are the new ones in Way of the Adept. Although there are some qualities that were first published in Runner's Companion that later made the jump to the SR4A main book (such as Erased), so there's some doubling up.

Erased is great and horrible at the same time.

We have a guy on our team with it, his truck got impounded and then lost so that he had to hire another run team to go get it.
-
Erased is a positive quality that says the data you want to keep stays around. If you're screwing the player with it, I hope you at least told them that you were going to do it before they spent the BP on it.
-
Well unfortunately the player doesn't even know who is doing it. It's part of his background.
But it's fun when it comes back to bite him in the ass :)

And that would be why I don't take that quality.

It's not supposed to bite him in the ass though, or it would give build points instead.
