Has anybody seen it yet? I'm afraid the uneven quality of the recent releases makes me hesitate...

what sort of stuff might be in the book that could be useful, sides fluff
i know they are advertising some 'blob' drone...sides that?

There are already a few threads on this, down-page a bit, that have already gotten a little more traffic than this. Y'all might want to go check down there to see how folks are responding.

So I bought it. I've only glanced at Tradecraft and Spy Equipment sections. I am impressed with the quality of the writing. The Tradecraft section has the practical, gritty approach I like. The Spy Equipment section has some fun stuff (stun gas reservoir built into your commlink) and nothing jumped out as totally broken. So far, so good.
That said...the equipment section lacks headings for individual pieces of equipment. So instead of this:
Predator: The Predator heavy pistol includes etc.
Manhunter: The Manhunter heavy pistol is etc.
You get this:
For the latest in disguise options, look at the X...
Not to be outdone by double-jointed adepts is Y...
Which makes it annoyingly difficult to find things on the page.

I've scanned over it only, but I really like what they did with the Denver info, and the extra stuff about the areas where "The Great Game" is being played around the world.
Gear section needed a few more minutes in the oven, I think.

Critias, I searched for "Spy Games" but only came up with a few references to it as an upcoming product. What threads are you referring to?
