I'm building a drake character, who happens to turn into a sea drake. They desribe them fairly well in Runner's Companion, but I'm wondering if there are any official or fanmade pictures out there than I help base my physical description off of.

The leviathan picture in the SR4A critters section is pretty good. Sea drake characters probably look like a mini version of that.

I agree with Ten-Hex that the Leviathan in SR4A is one of the better pictures.

Unfortunately, he's American from Louisiana, so he's going to have a bit more of an elongated snout, like an alligator, but I really like the body. Sleek looking!

Key word in all options = American, hence the flippant labelling from my end :P
I lived in USA for a year (among other places over the decades), I understand that there are locational, national, cultural and just all-out general differences in people everywhere, in the Americas or otherwise.
But from a completely foreign, other-side-of-the-world perspective, drilling down into the American difference between 'American, a Confederated Citizen, or a Cajun?' isn't something we worry about a lot :P

Much like a Korean or Lao might get a bit "Huffy" if asked by someone, "Are you Japanese or Chinese?" :P
Or a Welshman who is mistaken for a Brit.
Or a Kiwi who is mistaken for an Aussie.

*laughs* all above points are valid :D
A) My gene pool from Grandparents down includes 5 nationalities, 3 religions and a partridge in a pear tree. Ergo, I have zero moral rights to expect anybody to know where I'm from by looking at me.
B) Accents change, and I don't expect anyone from the other side of the world to really know the difference between an Oz vs Kiwi accent (or British (inc. variants), or State/locational Aussie derivatives). Such expectation leads to madness.
Breaking labels down to a continent has always been the safest options when travelling: ie
- European (vs stepping on the toes of Italian, Greek, Spanish, Swedish, French etc)
- Asian (vs North Korean, South Korean, Chinese, Japanese etc)
so and so forth.
...leading me back to that diverse label of American. You guys are on a big continent and all sub-continent labels are just directional derivatives..ie:
- The continent of America is broken into North, South and Central.
Therefore IMHO, while I respect that it's a big area with diverse differences between residents, anybody from that continent who gets iffy at the general term 'American' needs to re-check their map :P

Well, the issue between Canada and the US is that, well, they claim the title of "American" for their own. I'm willing to bet the rest of "The New World" is a little upset over it as well. :P I'll have to check with a friend from South America...

As an acquaintance in Kingston put it years ago, they showed both your troop and your plane on the news... so we now know where both of your soldiers are deployed. :P

There is talk up here of buying a new plane, but planes are pretty expensive. To think that some countries have whole wings of them!
