Title: Simrig as Complex Form
Post by: Ultra Violet on <01-26-11/0609:39>
Can a technomancer with Simrig as CF, recording her special view of the Matrix (AR or VR and what's about Resonance Realm searches)?
If yes, does the Matrix-View count as own channel if we deal with a TacNet?

Yours faithfully,
UV

No, and no.  Unwired covers this neatly on page 136.  It works exactly like a normal simrig.

Ok, but a normal simrig can record feelings and thoughts.

Anyway if a technomancer has a form of optical AR-Device like smart goggles then she sees it with her natural sight, too. That combined with the feelings or thoughts should at least give a rough picture what the TM is seeing, or not?

It would record normal AR and VR stuff. no problem.  However, I don't think it would record anything to do with the Resonance (just like it doesn't record anything magical).

The interaction between tacnets and simrigs is already covered.
