Without going into the lols that started this conversation, on page 465 of the Shadowrun 5th Edition Core Rulebook:
"Ares Venture: This small, cheap LAV is manufactured
from off-the-shelf parts at environmentally friendly
plants for use by smugglers worldwide. The Venture
sees a wide variety of legitimate, security, and military
use besides being a favorite of smugglers on a budget.
It is often used as a cargo or passenger transport, and
heavily armed and armored variants exist for patrol duty.
The Venture sells well among third-world customers."
So here's my question. What does the Ares Venture look like? Does it have wings? What is it? Inquiring minds need to know!
Edit: If LTA stands for "Lighter Than Air," what does LAV stand for?

LAV = Low Altitude Vehicle, known in RL as a ground-effect vehicle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_effect_vehicle). It uses the ground effect (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_effect_(aerodynamics)) of aerodynamics in order to get (and stay) off the ground and in 'flight' while not requiring an especially large aerodynamic surface (e.g. wing or rotor) to do so.
The first page has a number of images of actual real-life GEVs; most LAVs in Shadowrun have a sort of 'aerodynamic brick with jet engines' look, like this:

as for the question of VTOL or LAV, the answer is yes. All LAVs that I am aware of use vectored thrust, thus making them "technically" VTOL flyers (VSTOL also if you want to really get technical) Given that their typical flight altitude is somewhere around 1-2 feet, it is a real technicality.
