Hello all
I have played different RPGs for more than half of my life but I am totally new to Shadowrun. Well, I did own some older edition long time ago but we never got around playing it. So, I created this thread for SR-newbies like myself to ask some questions from you old-timers. Here's the first ones from yours truly:
1. In the character sheet (SR4A) under Skills there are columns for RTG, ATT and DP. I can figure out the first two, but what is DP used for?
2. Also, where do you guys usually write out all the gear that doesn't fit under any of the other sections (cyberware, commlink etc)? It puzzles me quite a bit that there is a seperate sections for vehice and whatnot but not for regular gear.
Ps. I just realized that these aren't exactly rules questions per se - sorry about that and please move this thread to another area if needed.

Huh... never noticed that about regular gear.
I'd probably just keep gear that doesn't fall in the other areas on a separate sheet/index card.

DP stands for Dice Pool and is the sum of Attribute and Skill/Skillgroup Rating plus boni from other sources.

Ah, of course. Somehow I thought it would be some bonus column and the total is just added at the end of the line (because there is space). But yeah, that makes sense, cheers.
