Hi
Hope this is the correct forum to ask
I've been considering signing up to be a demo team agent. However, I have some questions, and was hoping someone here could enlighten me.
1. What exactly are the obligations of a demo team agent? Are they required to attend and run events at conventions, or would it be enough that they set up events at their local game stores and run those?
2. Are demo team agents allowed to run the CMP missions as regular in-store Missions events or are those restricted to conventions only?
3. Not Missions related, but demo-team related - can demo agents running Crossfire demos get support materials such as replacement cards/stickers etc... from Catalyst if they need them?
Just a quick not on my situation: I live in Iceland, which is of course in the middle of the Atlantic, so my access to conventions is pretty much non-existant most of the time without expensive travel - hence question #1 above. However, I do run a bunch of events at my local game store, mostly board gaming demos, as well as war gaming demos and tournaments. Recently I've been thinking of starting Missions as well, since PFS has been a success here and I want to try launching an alternative to D&D/Pathfinder and I've been noticing people becoming more interested in Shadowrun lately.
Thanks in advance for any information you guys can give me re. the above.

In order to maintain your status as a demo agent, you have to run 6 events a year. These can be demos of products at your FLGS, a Missions campaign set up at your FLGS, or conventions.
2. Are demo team agents allowed to run the CMP missions as regular in-store Missions events or are those restricted to conventions only?
You can run them at your FLGS during a Missions campaign (you can also do Missions one-offs, but there are great plot hooks that will keep people coming back for more).
3. Not Missions related, but demo-team related - can demo agents running Crossfire demos get support materials such as replacement cards/stickers etc... from Catalyst if they need them?
I've never needed them, so I don't know the answer to this question. But I can say that running Crossfire events counts toward your six events per year requirement.

I think this sounds great - you should contact Ray (Sinthalix) about getting set up. He can be PMed on these forums, or you can email him: srconvention@gmail.com

... and now there's another reason why I want to move to Iceland. Maybe if CanRay and I both move there, we can get into a fraggin' game ...

You could come down to Georgia. I know of at least 2 regular 5th edition games here. And I am getting ready to start offering my summer Missions to prep for Dragoncon.

I'm in Georgia - Lilburn/Snellville/Stone Mountain area. It's mostly just my job getting in the way, right now.
