If you roll a critical glitch, which means, you rolled no hits, and instead of spending a point of edge to negate it, you spend an edge to reroll all the misses (which would be all the dice in the case of a critical glitch), and roll enough hits to succeed, does that mean you succeed with a glitch?

The by-the-books read is that you can re-roll all the dice that did not score hits on a single test. This means you no longer have 50% (or more) ones and no hits. Unless you re-roll a critical glitch.
OR, you can negate (entirely) the effects of a glitch or critical glitch. You keep whatever hits you have, and call it a day.
So in your example, when you spend a point of edge specifically to negate a critical glitch, you don't re-roll (you didn't chose that option), you simply don't have the effects of a critical glitch anymore.
By the book, I see no reason to ever simply negate the effects of a glitch / critical glitch vice re-rolling. The way I compensate for this is that you can spend edge to re-roll before I tell you what the effect of the glitch / critical glitch is, but if you (for whatever reason) wait until after I tell you the bad news, then you can only spend to negate.

To re-roll, yes, but not simply negate the glitch. If you re-roll you might even score more successes.

I always ruled that if you had a critical glitch, you couldn't reroll - you could only negate the glitch (or add extra dice).

But when you get a dice pool of 12, and get 5 hits, and a critical glitch? Then i'd negate the glitch, or re-roll failed dice. Depending on how roll-heavy the scene is.

Uhm, when you get hits it's never a critical glitch. A critical glitch is when you get 50% 1s and no hits. 50% 1s and x hits is a "normal" glitch.

That is how I always played it too. The other thing to keep in mind is that you can succeed with a regular glitch, and by the book a regular glitch should just be something inconvenient or funny not life threatening. A critical glitch however is another story.
Since you can only spend edge once on a roll it quickly becomes a really bad day when you use edge to get extra dice on the roll then proceed to critical glitch

Interpretation in my group is that when you add extra dice or re-roll with Edge, it doesn't change whether you glitched (either way). If you re-roll a critical glitch, you might get some hits, but it's still a critical glitch. Likewise, if you add Edge to a non-glitch, it can't become a glitch.

I have considered this approach, it seems the best way to make all possible edge uses balanced / useable.

This doesn't make any sense. Either you fail realy horribly, or you don't.

Which would make the reroll and the removal of a critical glitch mutually exclusive. I can see adding in Edge dice afterward (not rerolling, adding dice) to try to get hits in order to drop the CG to a regular G, as that wouldn't be at odds, thematically.

When you add Edge to a critical glitch, it isn't necessarily a horrible failure anymore. If you convert it to a normal glitch, then it's merely an inconvenient or weird failure. If you get extra hits from Edge, then it's a horrible success, a Pyrrhic victory.

If you are likely to glitch again, say perhaps in roll with a very small dice pool, you might choose to just negate the glitch instead of risking a re-roll.

I'd make a houserule - you can reroll a Glitch, but it still applies to the re-rolled result, even it that's all '6'. And Critical Glitches can only be downgraded. Off course, you can re-roll a critical glitch that has been downgraded...

The very definition of a critical glitch is no success in the action taken at all.

Rolling no successes is the cause of a critical glitch, but it's not one of the defined results of the glitch. The defined result of a critical glitch is simply a catastrophic mistake, fumble, accident, etc. That can still happen even if you are ultimately successful in your action.
It's a subtle point but an important one; don't mix up cause and effect.

Example of a critical glitch that still succeeds:
You are trying to save your mother from the razorboy sent to assassinate her. You attempt to shoot them in the head, but roll a critical glitch. Upon spending edge, you succeed in the roll.
Because you succeeded, you shoot the razorboy in the head.
Because it was a critical glitch, the bullet went through your mother's head first.
A drastic example, and your GM is a dick, but it can happen.

Gotta agree with Bradd here.
If you roll a critical glitch, then you have critically glitched. It is now a fact.
Edge is considered after this fact, and interacts with glitches in a defined fashion.
Dudes don't really crit-glitch much of ever, though.

Good example, Raiki. And it doesn't happen much with us either, although this exactly thing came up recently. The player eventually decided to just suck up the critical glitch (no Edge spent at all), partly because you refresh a point of spent Edge when you crit glitch. ;)

Yeah, since you have to spend a point of Edge to negate the effects of a Critical Glitch, I'm with the others that you can't re-roll to AND have the Critical Glitch disappear.
