Here's to hoping you guys end up getting paid rational money should you land a novel.

I'd write it just to get it put onto my resume!  If I get to/can write one.

The pay, however, hopefully will be nice.  And we won't talk about it, because that's not a polite topic to talk about.  ;D

Stupid excited about this news still.

Neat seems successful at paving the way for new Fiction. Congrats on the Silver BS tag on DTRPG!

Now that we've got the good news of new fiction, is there any chance of seeing a hardcopy version of Neat? :)

That sort of decision is above my pay grade.  I guess there's the possibility of it being added to another novel or something, but...no plans that I know of, no.

Would be nice to see it (along with some of the other fiction and novellas released) pulled into a print anthology at some point.

However, as I've already read it  (;D) far more interested in learning about a sequel and/or new releases. 8)

When I asked, Harebrained said they had no plans to expand the release of the Shadowrun Returns Anthology, and that was very disappointing.

Indeed. I'm about half way through it and enjoying it immensely. Can't imagine why they wouldn't want to expand the release...even if only digital.

I completely agree.  I missed the original kickstarter and now I have no way of getting a copy... :(

I is filled with great sadness  :'(

Just spotted this on Amazon (all usual Amazon disclaimers need to be applied): The Cassandra Variable - Malevolent End (http://www.amazon.com/The-Cassandra-Variable-Malevolent-Shadowrun/dp/1936876280/ref=pd_sim_b_16). Wondering if this is one of the new novels?

Well, the Digital Toolbox did also list the names of some upcoming novels:

-Fire and Frost
-Hell on Water
-Dark Resonance

All are being priced at $14.95. No idea if those prices are as print releases or e-pub releases.

My guess would be print...pretty sure that is the same price as the other fiction anthologies that have been released.

Jason just posted on FB (https://www.facebook.com/shadowruntabletopgame/posts/10152240898069591?stream_ref=10) that Frost & Fire has been completed and sent off to the editor. No timing as to actual release, but definitely steps in the right direction. ;D

What's this Omnibus book? Is that a collection of a whole bunch of Nigel Findley novels or is that a novel that I've never heard of before? I can't seem to find it anywhere, did it not get released yet?

I just picked up 2XS, and I was going to pick up the rest of Findley's work after I finished this novel, but if I can get it all in one package, I might think about waiting.

It's exactly that -- a collection of his work.  So it's right what you're looking for, sounds like (and this way you'll have two copies of 2XS, which means you can loan one to friends to get them addicted).  :)

In fairness,  the intention has always been to release them, but I don't think the publishing houses ever let them sort out the licensing issues :-\

Which might actually be part of the problem as well, Roc was the company that put out the novels, not FASA.

So wait, you are saying our books are caught between a Roc and a Micro-space? :P
