So, DMSO under Super Squirt says it apply the toxin as a Contact-vector toxin. Does that mean that you can use none contact toxins, use that toxin with the super squirt, and all of a sudden you have a contact vector version?

For example, Nausea Gas: Vector Inhalation. If someone was wearing a gas mask, but you were using Nausea Gas as the toxin ammo for the Super Squirt, would it apply the affects o the Nausea Gas via skin contact?

DMSO turns any toxin into a contact vector.
RPG mechanics exist to give structure and consistency to the game world, true, but at the end of the day, you’re fighting dragons with algebra and random number generators.

So, someone could buy 10 units of DMSO for 10 Nuyen, mix the DMSO with a Toxin, then apply DMSO to their bladed melee weapon? How many swings would the melee weapon be applying the toxin? Only the first swing?

You don't mix it into a paste that you can put on your katana... ;-)

You fire DMSO gel packs (filled with toxin) using the Ares S-III Super Squirt.

That's what I'm getting at. I don't see an entry for DMSO buy able outside of ammo, so with current rules, trying to think how you'd get access to it to lace things with, like door handles and katanas

+1.

A katana does 4 damage.  It's not very good for game balance to allow a loophole for it to do 15.

It would be a pretty reasonable player request though, so it would be nice if there was a answer for why?  Many things are not in the rules that the players will attempt to do. If this is something the game doesn't want to be possible and its a pretty obvious thing players will want to try there should be some fluff on it.  Like DMSO almost instantly evaporates in the air so it is difficult to apply without in a vector that isn' t immediately applied. Seconds after the squirt hoses a object down it will evaporate and no longer function.
