I was wondering if anyone could tell me the status of Unwired...I was about to purchase it from Amazon, but only used copies are available and they are outrageously priced

You should look into a PDF version. I buy the PDF and print it out at Staples or such. Usually runs about $15 to print one out.

If you have a laser printer like me, you'd only need page protectors and a three-ring binder at an office supply store.

Or just do what my D&D group does, and have 1 or 2 laptops at the table, with PDFs open in several windows.

I'd need a Laptop worthy of the name first.  (900 MHz Processor! Chuga-Chuga!).  But that's all I need (Other than a longer battery life.).

Someday I might get a tablet of some sort.
