Hey Guys

Can someone explain to me, why Aiden Wagner is kidnapped in Boston Lockdown? He seems to be an Adept, but is kidnapped by people experimenting on Technomancers.....doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Also, is there any part where the actual events leading to the lockdown are described? I just have puzzle pieces from Stolen Souls and one short sentence going like "and then pax decided to upload deus instead" and nothing else....i feel a bit underinformed.

Would appreciate the help :)

You would need the Boston: Lockdown e-book for that, gotten via the game.

Or it's part of the game itself, which means it won't make it into the book.

I've never looked at his stat block in the NPC section. I actually thought he was a TM from reading the adventure.

A mistake when they stat'd him maybe?

Or if you want to get super conspiracy theory Celedyr planned it to trap the runners in the QZ. So that then the runners could uncover what's going on and retrieve the data to incriminate NeoNET, because Celedyr is trying to make a power play against Villiers, or something...

The version you download with the game is not the full version right? When is the full version going to come out?

Why do you think it's not the full version?  It's 200+ pages, which is far larger than most of the books thus far.  I haven't finished it yet, so no spoilers please.  :)

As far as the story goes though, which may be what you're referring to, the story takes place in the video game.  It's totally normal for events to be left unresolved for quite some time, to allow GMs to run players through their own version of the aftermath.  Just look at the Bug City book to see what I mean.

I haven't read the book. I read somewhere online that there were two versions of the book. One by cliffhanger and one by catalyst.

Okay I downloaded Lockdown but haven't had a chance to read it yet. What other resources are out there for Boston fluff?

Several novels are set in Boston - Technobabel and the Tommy Talon series (Crossroads, Ragnarock, and The Burning Time).  Also, Target: UCAS covers Boston to an extent.

From my reading of the book Aiden's kidnapping is just an excuse to get the runners to town. Maybe those runners were fed wrong information although the book does not answer that question.
If Tom Brady’s a Spike Baby, what does that make Brees and Rodgers?

Well, ok.
Might as well create my own Aiden Wagner then :)
