To be honest, I always thought of Fixers as jacks-of-all-trades contacts. True, they may not have the skills but their job more or less requires them to know someone who does.

Yeah, a Fixer is a contact who has lots of their own contacts.  They don't necessarily do much of anything themself, they put people in contact with other people.  They're a broker.
