This is a list of events and runs for each place of interest that I can find in the books. A lot of the events will seem like they are written for one person. That is just the way I write. It you have more than one that is fine they can of course be involved these are just ideas to help you if you are stuck. I will just be putting up one or two places at a time as I get them done. I hope you enjoy and I hope this is helpful =O)
[spoiler] Seattle-Tacoma International Air Port:
B & E: Airports are known for their security as well as their zero tolerance of those that try and get through it. The run is simple all the employer wants you to do is get through airport security and into the management offices and plant a virus in to the system that will make there system go haywire. It will prevent anyone from taking off or landing there while a second team receives there target from one of the grounded planes. Sounds simple enough but there is never an easy ride as a runner. The virus triggers the lockdown systems and makes it much more difficult to get out through bullet proof glass barricades and airport security trying to find out what is going on and stopping any they find and detaining them either through nonlethal force or if they fire back lethal ordinance.
Courier Run: The Employer wants you to get to the airport and pick up a package from a man that will be marked in your AR as Target. This man will not know that you are there to pick up this package and you will have to “persuade” him to give up said item which is in a fortified brief case hand cuffed to his arm. You will also have to do this before he gets outside to his ride and armed escort. One other thing he will have men with in the terminal but they will not be armed but they are very skilled at unarmed combat and have a mage with them. After you get this package and somehow get it out of the airport without getting detained or killed by either airport security or his escort you will need to transport it across town to the employer. So no big deal.…
Data Steal: The employer wants you to hack into the data base of the airport and get there authorization codes that are used for landing and taking off and to plant a transponder code that they give you. They change on every 3 days so the window for this is narrow and they need it within two days for a job they are trying to pull off. The hacker will have to be on sight to do this hack as they do not have this info on a wireless network and stealing it from the planes won’t work as they have a specific codes that matches to the transponder code cannot be spoofed or faked as they keep track of the planes that have already given the code while they are there and when they leave. Hence the reason you need to plant the transponder code they give you.
Extraction: There is someone being held by airport security and your employer needs you to get them out before security has a chance to find some contraband on him. It is in the his hollow tooth and if they do find it he will need you to still get the asset out and find the contraband and return both to him.
Hooding: As you are waiting on a friend there is a commotion behind you and gunfire goes off. The alarms in the airport go off and there several men with guns shooting anyone that tries to run for the door. As you curse that the airport wouldn’t let you bring any of your own guns with you one man stands up on some of the chairs in the front of the room and shouts with an enhanced volume voice. “Ladies and Gentlemen I am sorry to inform you that your flight has been delayed. I am however happy to say that you and I will be spending a lot of time together.” He smiles and waves his gun around the room. “ My name is John Doe and I will be your captor for this evening. If you look to the left and the right you will see my associates. They will help you will all your needs this evening. Such as I needs you to shut up and do as I say, and of course they may be called on to shoot you at my leisure.” You are good but not sure if you can take down these guys without causing a major body count of civilians. Not to mention the cost to yourself and your team.
Smuggling: Not normally a good idea to try and smuggle something on to and airplane. If the pay is good enough though you can always find a creative way to get it done. Your employer wants you to go to the airport and sneak on board some contraband and get it to Cincinnati. He insists that you take the plane from the airport because he has a guy on the plane that also needs some contraband. The problem comes when you find out that an air marshal is on board and sitting next you your intended recipient of your package and you must get it to him before the plane lands as it is time sensitive. There is one other problem when you get it to him you find out that it is a bomb intended to be used on this very plane by a mad man that set you up. There are options of course to defuse and save the plane and therefore yourself but once that is done you will need to get the son of a biscuit eater that set you up back.
Structure hits: Your employer wants you to hit the airport with explosives to put it out of business for a while. It doesn’t want you to completely destroy it but they would like you to do enough structural damage that it will need to be shut down for several weeks for repairs.
Wet work: Your employer wants you to kill a man as he is getting off of his private plane. He can’t be allowed to leave the airfield alive. They will pay you top nuyen to make it showy and messy. They want to send a message and if you can get to this man at the airport that they are not safe anywhere.
Random Events: Roll 3d and go with the number you roll
3) As you wait for a plain there is a sound of something high pitched and very loud above and all around you. As you look around to see what it is you catch a glimpse of a passenger plane falling strait for the terminate. As you try and ignore the irony of that you have to get out of there or your shadowrunning days are over.
4) You meet an old friend that you haven’t seen in a while and he wants a favor.
5) Your flight is delayed do to weather and will not be able to leave for hours. That’s the bad news the good news is that as you are sitting there waiting you see one of your old enemies that you haven’t seen in a long while being taken into custody by airport security. Now you know where they are what will you do?
6) It is just another normal day at the airport and you have having some soycaf while waiting for your flight when you see what looks like to be one of your recently dead friends walk by you. They seem to have a distant look on their face and almost seem to be on autopilot. This is not going to end well.
7) You see a young child is lost and is crying. If you go to help him you will miss your flight if you leave him there some other unsavory sort might come and do who knows what to the poor child.
As you wait in line to get your luggage the lights in the entire airport go out and the backup lights to do not turn on. In the darkness you hear screams and what sounds like talons on a hard surface moving very quickly toward you…
9) You see on old flame at the airport restaurant and they have a favor to ask you. By favor I mean they need protection from a hit man that is some were in the airport.
10) Your bags are missing. Which isn’t to uncommon of a thing in the airport but as you go to report them being lost you see some man walking away with them. As you call out to tell him that he has the wrong bags he turn and looks as very nervous and begins to run.
11) As you sit down to eat at the airport restaurant after a long flight you look around the area and try to relax a bit. You hear what sounds like people falling on to the floor. As you turn and look you notice it is in fact what is happening. They seem to have been drugged. As you go to check them out you see what looks like some very strange and somewhat unnerving people coming toward you and they are look like they are hungry…. but not for the airport food(yikes)
12) As you are walking through the airport you see what looks like to be a troll shrugging his shoulders and waving his hands in an apologetic waving of his hands saying “I am sorry” as you get closer you see that he is being stared down by one of the meanest pixies you have ever seen. It look as if the pixie has had a very bad day he wings look scuffed up and his nose is bleeding. He is just staring daggers into the troll when the troll falls over dead. The pixie looks shocked and begins to look around as if to see what happened. At that time airport security comes for him and he disappears. As you leave you notice your bag is a bit heavier and as you open it up you see that pixie has hitched a ride to get out of the airport. He looks up at you and says in a very pitiful voice. “Please help me… you’re my only hope…”
13)Someone bumps into you as you are walking through the airport and they say they are sorry. As they leave you can’t find one of your cred sticks and when you turn around he disappears into the crowd….
14) As you sit and wait for your flight you hear what sounds like an earth shattering boom as the floor beneath your feet starts to tilt and then the entire room fallows suite at a very rapid pace you find that you have to hold on you’re your bolted down chair to keep your footing and as you start to get your barring you hear another boom from the other side of the airport. Someone is trying to blow this place up with you in it!
15) Why can’t you ever get a good sit? You are in the middle row and you are sitting between a troll and what looks like some kind of half animal half human changing. When a mana storm hits and people all over the plane begin to change. By the time the storm passes you and your team are the only ones unaffected for some reason. As you look around at the now deformed shapes that used to be metahuman that seem to be in such pain and rage. Soon the pain seems to dissipate but the rage does not and then the entire plane become a slaughter house.
16) Your plane arrives on time and you are about to board when the woman at the gate stops you and says ”Sorry sir but your ticket isn’t valid.” As you check you see that it has been altered. As well as your profile and everything on your com. You have been hacked and someone doesn’t want you to make you flight.
17) Where does a dragon land at the airport…. Anywhere he wants to. As you get ready for you flight you see that a dragon has landed in the middle of the run way and the planes can on takeoff until he moves. It does not look like the security personnel are trained for this sort of thing.
18) You find that you are 2 hours early for your flight and that the ticket time was off for some reason. As you wait you see a pilot going to your plane and it looks like he may have been drinking as you notice he stubbles a time or two. When he gets near you he stubbles and uses your leg to support him. When you look into his eyes you see that something is very wrong with him and it isn’t drugs…
