What do you mean, "traditionally?"  Most (99%) of the information surrounding minotaurs is fictional (in the SR universe).  The Awakening brought a lot of stereotypes to the fore and promptly squashed them.  There are many who embrace the fiction (in setting, they are called "Trad Fans" for "Traditional Fantasy") and are looked upon in setting much like folks who dress up everyday like they are at a Ren Faire.

If you want to go for the combat axe, no one will stop you (who would argue with a minotaur, really?).  Realize though that it is still an aesthetic choice, and not a "traditional" one.

Exactly. But through out Mythology & gaming History Minotaur's use Axes. So Usda is a traditionalist according to myth & legend.

Not to mention. It's a pretty deadly melee weapon!

C12 might be a bit powerful.  You'd either blow yourself up or need a really long, awkward pole.  But I like the concept.

I like that idea.  A lot.  Exploding javelins......Nice.   

And you can expand this to so many other sports: shot put, hammer throw, discus, etc.
