Removing weapon modifications

I'm looking at a weapon, however I don't like the idea of using a drum magazine. What are the rules for removal of said modification, or any other kind?

Page 129 of Arsenal. It takes the same modification test and tools as installing the mod, but the threshold is 1/2 and you don't need to spend any extra cash.

Note that, like vehicles, if the mod you remove was a "stock" feature of the weapon, you don't get any extra modification slots for removing it.
