Thank you, does it actually state that anywhere? I've looked over 102-103-104 in RF and can't find it stated. It says that "Certain metavariants have some very unique character-istics that do not translate to the metahuman form of a shapeshifter. These are also noted in the table." But they aren't called out very well.

So would that mean that the initiative bonus of +1 any initiative bonus only work in shifted form? So enhanced hearing etc would only work in shifted form? Not the meta-human form?

no, afaik all the powers carry over, except the enhanced movement which is related to the animal form's physiology.
