Just wondering which training time for skill groups is correct. SR5 pg105 3rd paragraph states "Skill groups
are improved at a rate of [new Rating] x 1 month." but the Training Rate table on pg 108 has the improvement rate listed as [New Rating] x 2 weeks. I haven't been able to find anything on the forums about this.

That was stealth-errata'd in the latest update to the PDF.  The table entry is the correct one:  [New Rating] x 2 weeks.
