I was debating giving him some cyberlimbs, but then decided not to, because it did not seem worth the Essence Tradeoff. Let me what you think.

What are his preparations?

And don't you think you should have a point in blades due to the survival knife?

I'd be more inclined to build an aspected alchemist around buffs; combat preparations seem to offer too little control and poor dice pools.  For a troll, probably Metatype/Skillls/Attributes/Magic/Resources.  (AFB, but pretty sure there's an Aspected option at D).

Also keep in mind theat power foci do not raise Magic; they only give you bonus dice.

Yeah, D gives Aspected Magic 2 with nothing else. If you take Troll at (A), you should be able to bump that up. The biggest problem is probably going to be getting all of the karma together to buy your preparations.

Personally, I'd think it would be a good idea change the SINner to Limited Corporate and put the extra 5 Karma into Blades, Pilot Ground Vehicle, and Artificing.

As a bonus, I'd change Japanese to Cantonese. (Have it be that the Alchemist used to work for Wuxing.)

All his spells are Alchemical...What do you mean by where are my preparations??

Survival l Knife more for utility.

I think the Prejudice for Teenagers should be raised from 3 to 5 while we're at it.  ;D

It also says that means they give you a dicepool bonus on Alchemy, Conjuring and Sorcery skills. They do not augment your Magic.

Which it then goes on to define.

Power Foci
Power foci live up to their name. They are very powerful
foci that temporarily increase your effective Magic rating.
That means they add to your Sorcery, Conjuring, and
Enchanting dice pools, along with any other test where
Magic is involved. Power foci can take any form, but for
some reason, rings and amulets are quite popular.

I might have to change things a bit with Character if Michael is right..

I made up list of Alchemy Preparations character could do in 6 Hours. This was assuming Effective Magic Rating was 9. So might have to change things..but still, not bad I think.

Michael is right on this.  Power Foci do not work like they did in 4th edition.
Feel free to keep any karma you earned illicitly, it's on us.

Their description has changed since SR3, but SR3 had a different system where Overcasting and such was determined by other values than Magic, so their actual effect hasn't really changed.
