Every time I read about modern medfical research, especially robotic prosthetics, I have this running through my head:

'Deus though of that first, I'm sure'....
'Too much is never enough'

Current PC: Free Spirit (Norse Shamanic)
'Names are irrelevant. Which fake ID do you want me to quote from?'

God I love the future (as long as the Pols don't sell us all out to the corps before we're able to enjoy it).

Meh. I'm less worried about Politicians than actual declaration of war/invasion. But that's a political discussion that doesn't belong on the SR forums

I see.  I'm far less worried about the idea of a war than I am of waking up and finding my town stamped with "Property of Ares Macrotech".

Also, I figured I was leaving it nonspecific enough that it would slide under the terms of use.  I come here to get away from the politics and all that jazz.  I save causing ulcers for the trawlies at HuffPo. ;)

A Day of Glass just for everyday differences.

I also get a chuckle everytime I pass AAA Security on my way to work (one of their vans actually has a bumper sticker that says "Don't Let the Runners In" with a few fake bullet holes in it.

Also, and I know this is something of a stretch, but I can't watch X-Men (the 90's cartoon) without thinking of Shadowrun anymore, and I blame nojosecool for it.

The whole cast needs to be converted into characters... I only wish that Gambit's object charging power were represented in either spells or adept powers.  I would so run Gambit through anything, effective or not.

Best X-Man ever.

Agreed

Build Physad
 - Killing hands (Elemental Blast)
 - Throwing mastery
 - Skills: Thrown weapons, Athletics, Unarmed/Clubs (Spec: Quarterstaff)
 - And an INCREDIBLY generous GM who lets you use Elemental Blast (or an additional custom Phys Ad power) on your Thrown weapons and/or Quarterstaff

I've been toying around with different mystic adept builds as a go around to cover the kinetic blasts, but none of them come out with quite the right feel.  Either too wizardy or the magic end of it comes up as largely useless.

A generous GM would be so much more the awesome.  I'd even settle for Inertia Strike with thrown weapons.

Unfortunately it seems like I'm about to be the main GM locally, with my game, Missions at my FLGS in the near future, and I might be taking over the other game I play in for a while to give the GM a break while my character is dead in Africa...

HAHAHA!  I can't stop thinking of how to do that either, Onion.  I personally like Beast.

Surged troll adept
-Fur
-Monkey paws
-Claws
-Elongated limbs

Bioware: Cerebral boosters (3)
etc. etc.

Or Wolverine:

Adept Human-looking Ork:
Titanium bone lacing (deltaware)
Spurs (deltaware) (Weapon foci 6)
All the healing-assist qualities, adept powers, bioware, nanites, etc.
Muscle toner/augmentor 4/4
Olfactory booster (6)

Cyclops:
mystic adept
Aspected magician (combat spells)
One spell only: Elemental attack(? no books in front of me.  Some indirect spell with element attached to it) [BLAST]
His visor could be both a fetish, and a level 6 spellcasting focus
Adept powers for agility and strength, probably for leadership too.  (commanding voice?)
This is not Grand Theft Auto, this is Shadowrun.
