Title: Hidden arm holster
Post by: flatlyne2001 on <06-13-11/1122:08>
What do people consider to be the largest size pistol in a sliding arm holster?

Thanks for input.

Depends on the size of the arm in question.  Elf or a Human might get away with some of the smaller Light Pistols.  Troll could get away with the smaller Heavy Pistols.

by RAW, you can put a heavy pistol on it. by common sense, a heavy pistol isnt stealthy.

for most arms, a holdout on a slide is a good choice. otherwise you need a good agility+palming to not be obvious about it.

Personally I'd stick with the light pistols, and if you're worried about punch, just upgrade them to do FA and make them into light machine pistols  ;D

"Depends on your campaign."

If you're going for a more cinematic pink mohawk feel, than any pistol might qualify. I mean, in movies, we see Antonio Banderas somehow pop two full sized Desert Eagles out of his (buttoned!) sleeves in Desperado.

Yeah somehow my GM won't allow my scrawny 2 BOD elf to hide AP4's up his sleeves  :(

I'm pretty sure you mean his pair of Ruger KP90:s as Banderas doesn't use a more then one Desert Eagle in that movie and even that one is still on the bad guys hand who's it is 8)

No need to bow to me ;)
I actually had to use IMFDB (http://www.imfdb.org/index.php?title=Main_Page") to get the actual model of those pistols, i just new they weren't Desert Eagles. ;)

The Desert Eagle actually scared Robert Rodriguez, as he hadn't realized how loud a .50 pistol would be.

I have been in gun ranges when .50 cal Deagles were being fired.

I swear the shots made my eyeballs pulse just by being near them.

I can't even get onto a range.

'Nother reason to go to Origins or GenCon, I guess.
