Does Catalyst have a office location and if so, where?
-
Yes, and it's a secret.

I remember, a bush.
And waking up naked underneath it with my cane sticky with my blood.

Was there a $20 bill in your hand? :P

I'm sorry I asked ;--). You are a funny bunch of "guys". Why the secret though, or is that too a secret?
-
It's a secret because I have no idea who you are nor why you're asking. There's an address in the front of pretty much every printed Catalyst book, you'll have to make do with that.

I love having simple answers. Look in the book. It's right there. I wish all our shadowrun questions were so simple.
I originally asked because my very recent introduction to podcasts kept mentioning conventions in or around Ohio. I have family there still and could use them as an excuse to attend shadowrun events nearby. In fact I trying real hard to get to the one in Columbus in January/February. I don't remember the date right now but it's a goal.
Thanks.

I think you will be surprised when/if you "drop" by the Catalyst offices....
many of the writers are "freelance" and live very far away from the office building (not that it saves them from harm.... poor CanRay...next time I am out east seeing my Daughter, I'll buy you a beer and a steak, Keep up the great work!!!)
The wonders of the digital age means many people don't have to "drop by" the office to do their work.
Heck, I am in the industrial construction industry, and I have been to my company's head office 5 times in 15 years!

The Looking For Games and Living Campaigns And Convention boards are usually good places to look for events. There is also the http://www.catalystdemos.com/ page.

Technically, CGL is located in Seattle. Indeed, several of the key upper management personnel are located there. But we don't have a central office. We operate as a "Remote Office", as many of us are scattered around the country. I'm in the sticks in Amish Country of Ohio. Jason is in Chicago. Our freelancers live all over the place, from Texas to California to Canada to England to Germany and more.

I'm trying to come up with a theme song for him. Something out of an '80s cartoon, but my songwriting skills suck.
