Yeah, they are. You could also do a mix and match. Like take Physical Mask and leave the rest as they are. Physical Mask is the big one for me, it's a disguise spell pure and simple so the best version is well, the best.

I've been reading alot of spells.

Anyway, maybe I'm specializing too much. this spell list seems like some kind of psionic almost. I was originally going for a marvelous & mysterious sorcerer type.

Maybe I'll change things around a bit.

I'd like to play a clever sort. Someone that doesn't need to use combat spells to win a fight.

How do these sound?
Manabolt- Sure you can't target drones with it, but if you are reduced to casting at drones well you're already in a bad way.

Heal- It's just plain handy.

Mass Confusion- Kill the enemies dice pools. "Confusion to our enemies!"

Physical Mask- Great disguise spell.

Control Emotions or Mob Mood- FEAR ME! Love me, Hate him.

Control Thoughts- Mind control pure and simple.

Ice Sheet- High drain, but funny and deadly in the right situations.

Ignite- Fires are great distractions.

Levitate- You're able to fly, and guards rarely look up.

Healthy Glow or Makeover- I'm so pretty...

Fashion- I've got style!

Hot Potato- Make em drop their guns.

Alter Memory- You didn't see anyone.

Hmm... that's 13 spells, but they are just suggestions. I'd probably dump Ignite for Alter Memory in all honesty.

I used Influence to make a guy shoot himself in the head one time. Not very likely, I know. But it worked out in the rolls. He was running a vory v zakone mob boss running a dwarven prostitution slave ring, so he deserved it. I'm not usually a fan of just killing people outright...

Me neither. There are circumstances when it is necessary, like you say. It seems like there is a sort of poetic justice in making the very wicked commit suicide.

I wonder if you could use illusions to a similar end. Have someone attacked by dogs that aren't there, make them think they are on fire, ect. Might take a combination of spells, but that would be severely badass.

If you could show them their worst fear, you might make them jump off a roof or something...

Yeah, but I think with the right combination of spells you could probably bring about a sort of "Voodoo Death". You see this sort of thing in movies and on tv all the time, but there is some truth to it. If you truly believe you are dying then you die.

Phantasm & Agony
Phantasm & Mind Control

With mind control they could die from inflicting their own wounds or die a psychosomatic death, believing they are being attacked by dogs or something.

With Agony you could make them believe they are on fire or that they are dying. Again I believe this could easily lead to a psychosomatic "Voodoo Death"

I'm sure there are others I'm not thinking of too.
