What's the logic behind WIS adding notoriety? I imagine it's something like
"This guy gets sick all the time, be careful about working with him/hiring him, he might get sick and have to stop your job"
-
Yeah, you really don't want Willy "Wheezer" McHonay doing a stealth op with ya. :P
-
I think it's just generally, you don't want someone frail doing a job with you; they'll likely pass out after a single flesh wound, or get an infection and die after their first run. Just, not a thing anyone looks for in a partner. Arguably this should also be if you have someone with a 1 in Body, as they're also pretty vulnerable. Remind me to consider a houserule of "1 point of Notoriety for every non-special attribute at 1"...

To be fair, we didn't make those up; they were already there. We just pointed to them as a reminder that Notoriety was even there.

Yep, the list is on page 368 of the Core book.
Any chance the lists will be expanded to include qualities from the other books? I was quite surprised that some of the qualities like LEEEEROY! don't give a character Notoriety...
EDIT: I just went back and checked your errata posting. You said that it is on page 372, did something change with the layout of the book? My pdf has that stuff on page 368 like I mentioned above... 372 is going over mission rewards (last page of gamemaster advice chapter).

+1 for other qualities affecting notoriety

Oh nevermind then :D

Somewhere between the second and third printings, some pages got rearranged. I don't know why. I'm trying to figure that out. First and second printings, that's on page 372.
And yes, we're definitely looking at qualities in other books. It's only fair.
