PLEASE keep in mind a lot of wht I do is not designed for pure optimization.  I think a well-played “special snowflake” character is far more engaging and contributes more to a game than a character made only for top stats/skills.  My characters are built around a concept, and I try to keep them to that concept, even if it means taking a sub-par Life Module.

1) I did take out the Uncouth Quality from Military Brat and replaced it with Blank Slate.  The karma “gain” is one point different, unfavorably to me, and it fit the character far better.

2) Cyber/bioware recommendations?  I have one free point of essence for bioware and a 10% for cyberware.  The idea is to use the bioware to make up his core systems and the cyberware to replace his limbs.  I know I want at least a full set of synthskin arms and legs, jut for “blending in”.

3) Obviously this character was physically inspired by Darth Vader.  That being said, the core idea behind him is a character who can change his body (modular cyberlimbs) and mind (personasofts with Blank Slate) to fit whatever role and run he is on.

1) is perfectly legal per the rules on page 84 of Run Faster regarding buying off negative qualities and picking new ones.  I do that a lot for life modules - a flaw will fit that particular stage of the character's life, but won't make sense for the finished character.

Picking the bioware for prototype transhuman is a tough call, mainly because your cyberlimbs will be so costly.  Because obviously, synaptic booster: 2 would be best.  If the GM interprets them as being compatible with reaction enhancers, boosted reflexes are nice and cheap.  Otherwise, maybe nephritic screen: 6, platelet factories, damage compensators: 4, and a reflex recorder for your primary combat skill.
