I've been playing a lot of tabletop games online over IRC for the past couple years, however I've never been able to find a game in my actual area, so I've never played around a real table. That's something I wanna change, and I'm really into Shadowrun at the moment, so if there's anybody who's got a gaming group in the California Bay Area, I'd be happy to join you.

I'm looking for a game in the bay area too. I'd be willing to try to run something if we could find one more. If your interested let me know and I'll try and recruit.

Definitely interested. Where are you at, exactly?

Dublin, it would be 4a, karma gen, I'm thinking 600 karma but we can work that out latter, probably reduced price for race. All books allowed but I reserve the right to toss any rule/ability/etc I feel is counter to a good story. I'm a beer and pretzel kind of gamer and willing to run a pink or mirrored game but tend to prefer pink. I'll try to get a couple recruiting posts up this weekend.

Dublin works for me. And I'll probably end up using most of the books, as I have access to them. Never done Karma gen before, but I'm sure I can figure it out. I don't drink beer, but pretzels are cool by me. No idea what pink v. mirrored means. But yeah, sounds good to me.

Karma gen is fairly simple, essentially you get 600 karma to build your character from the ground up.  I feel it leads to more balanced characters.
Pink Mohawk vs Mirrored Shades. Essentially the punk style, on the way out spray paint the anarchist sign all over the corps main lobby, vs the men in black they wont even know someone was their style.

Aha. Yeah, I'm cool with that. Plus it lends pretty easily towards the Signature and Distinctive Style negative qualities, which I've always wanted to play with.

Just to clarify. "the south bay" is the Los Angeles, Santa Monica and surrounding  area. I wish you guys where down here. The game you guy are planning sounds like fun.
