OK, say I live in the shadowrun world and I'm in a band. Not a large band, just me and a few chummers who play shows around town and sell our album "out the trunk" so to speak.

How, exactly do i sell my music?
I assume CDs and tapes are dead, as they're both damn near dead today.

So how does this go down, exactly?

Before, or after you found out the contract you signed to play at that dingy bar means a AA+ Corporation owns all the music you'll ever make?  ;D

The primary way for a band to make money is performing music live and selling merchandise. Selling music itself is sort of secondary to that, and by 2070 most artist might just accept that people are going to be able to get the music for free.
