You could get by with a less fancy deck. It will help you afford more 'ware or switch to resources b/skills A to fill out your face/matrix chops and more basic runner skills.

I like the idea of having more soft skills. Our group is mainly combat people. (3 Combat Character's, 1 Mage/Infiltrator, and soon to be 1 Decker/Face ((My father who also plays in the game likes this character so far so he's talking about switching to it. Yay, I don't have to pull matrix support.)) As well as another player joining the group who's talking about another combat character. It's kinda painful having so much combat and so little skills in the group.
