...To go with the armor jacket. I was recently thinking of breaking away from my customary lined dusters, but I don't like the fact that the jacket offers 0 lower body protection.
What do you think? Same Armor Rating, Availability and Cost as the jacket? Lower? Higher?

Shadowrun doesn't really have hit locations, so AV 12 is AV 12. How would you foresee a pair of AV 12 trousers worn with an AV 12 jacket work?

Called shots. Some tables (like ours) might house rules for hit location. Therefore, armor pants.

I tend to just assume there's armored clothing to go with it of similar strength. The described items is basically just the standout.
