Has anyone played around with different starting karma amounts for Street or Prime runners? If so what value(s) did you use?

At the high end, it is easy to go up to 1,000 or even 1,200 Karma for more experienced runners, perhaps also loosening a few other restrictions such as starting availability ratings.

At the low end, though, it is hard because some of the character options (trolls, etc.) have high fixed costs.  Also, limiting starting resources just turns the whole game into magicrun.  I would recommend keeping the base 800 Karma, but limiting character creation in other ways (maximum skill ratings of 4 or 5, Magic/Resonance capping out at 3 or 4, lower availability cap, etc.).  That way, characters will be weaker but still well-rounded.
