Any advice on making shamans?

It's worth noting that Cha+Will isn't exactly an uncommon pool set for a tradition, I'm sure you can find a one that's cool with you bonding some spirits. (I think Dark Magic is Cha+Wiil we know that one loves some spirit binding, *Insert metal guitar rift, and something for the Dark Master etc etc.")

Black Magic does use Charisma!
Would you want to go into a place where the resident had a drum-fed shotgun and can see in the dark?

I wasn't saying that it wasn't relevant or useable in certain cases, I was just saying that Shamans, by book description of the tradition, are less likely to bind spirits than most.

For the record the classic Elf Build works great, you can achieve the highest possible drain pool that way, having a giant pile of Cha. Sacrificing edge all the way is indeed a bad idea. But you can have both if your willing to play around with the build a lot.

Well tried using an elf build because of their higher charisma limit but seriously handicapped it by having low funds.

Also thanks for the suggestions, I really enjoyed doing shamans.

Also if possible a face role as well.
