in this case i'd say it's just that the artist didn't feel the need to show "everything"

besides if that's a female, them some flat boobs, and man is she fugly.

I actually had hired someone to do an original character of mine. He's not from Shadowrun, but is 'shadowrunesque' in the sense that he's an eight foot tall cyberdemon. (Basically the world is sorta...a mishmash crazy manga like thing...he's part of a story series I'm working on. He was a scientist who was transformed by fellow scientists by mixing his own genes with that of a summoned demon and a bunch of cybernetic parts, which turned him into a vengeful huge MF who stomped them into paste before going off on his own and joining up with some others in an action-comic kinda thing.)

He does have a Shadowrunny look, though, if you squint through a bright pink mohawk.

He's not that bad.

SURGE'd Wakyambi-variant Elf with Raptor Cyberlegs and chrome plating on the horns he grew in the SURGE. Bound to be thousan-... hundr-... doze-... okay, at least ONE of them in the Sixth World.

With some work I could at least make him somewhat in Shadowrun. In the story, he has more supernatural demon strength-I don't think I could get it that high with ware, but if I sat down with the books I could at least get a ''variant'' of him. An extremely tall something with the raptor legs, surged horns or cyberhorns, and just physical stats pumped as high as I can via genetech and the like. A Fomori could actually work-being the Pretty Trolls, I could probably give him some Moderate or Severe Biosculpting to basically just get rid of his tusks and a perfectly human face. Wouldn't be as strong as the canon version no matter what but would probably be the closest and most accurate version.

Might have to try this as a project actually, I never planned on making him in Shadowrun as he's just been in my fiction.

Y'know... I seem to remember a past Shadowrun book mentioning that there were these VR arcades characters could go to in order to play this political space opera giant walking battle machines MMO. Battle... somethingorother.  8)

Those actually existed in real life too.  Never got to visit one in person though  :'(

Check out conventions. ACEN in Chicago usually has a BattleTech simulator somewhere or another. Fun! Not as much fun as I imagined when i was a kid some eighteen years ago, but still...
