I’ve started working on an Alchemist.
I’ve gone over the pros and cons of Alchemy and I think I can make it work.
I’d like to make it SRM legal.
He’ll be a high charisma Dwarf.
I’ve got priorities arranged thusly,
A:Magic
B:Money
C:Dwarf
D:Attributes
E:Skills
A in magic gives 2 skills so I thought I’d just save my buy points for his non magic stuff.
B in $ is because he’ll need a lot of cash for his home base, lodge, vaults, vehicle, reagents etc.
C Dwarf, I know Elf would give me better charisma but I chose the extra beefiness and willpower instead. (I also prefer dwarves in general)
D Attributes is the only one I’m not completely happy with but it’s kinda where it fell.
E skills. With my magic A taking care of Alchemy and Summoning, I felt comfortable dumping skills.  I’ll spend Karma on some more later.

His purpose is as the ultimate support character.  Using a combination of command word preparations and leadership actions he’ll command the battlefield and coordinate the chaos.from the rear.

You should up your attributes. Beeing a magic character you cant use money to compensate for bad attributes

You need a high Willpower and Charisma to resist drain !! ( I am simply assuming Charisma since you want that to be high anyway, two birds one stone)

here is my suggestions

Attributes: A
Magic: B
Metatype : C
Skills: D
Money:E

He'll be broke, but useful and easy to diffvercify
I apologise for my posts beeing weird to read, I am fluent in english, but almost never write in english anymore :-(

I wanted more money so I could start with a couple “Vault of ages”(?).
He’s going to be an outfitter for the group.
At the drop point he passes out preparations to the group, during battle he performs as cover fire, leadership, and buff/healer via the preparations.
He needs a lot of magical gear to make it work right.

My suggestion is to use Priority C (forbidden arcana) that gives you nice stats for an alchemist (providing you don't want to be a full mage).
