You get one die per level of Attribute Boost purchase. So one per .25 invested in it.
Mäx makes a good point. Since the Level of your ability is only adding to the die roll to generate hits, and the hits themselves determine the boost to your stat, paying out for four levels instead of two increases your chances of taking stun damage as opposed to the number of hits you get on the test.
Yes, but changing it from a Magic 6 + Boost 2 test to a Magic 6 + Boost 4 test doesn't feel like it outweighs the difference between 2S Drain and 4S Drain.
