Ok gang.  Questions, comments, complaints, praises, large monetary contributions? This is the place to put them down.

SRM 04-01 really kicks in the first of the plot lines, the Ork Underground plotline Buried Underground, and starts the ball rolling toward the upcoming election season.

This adventure is a bit involved...  Straightforward, with a lot of different ways to complete it, and it really introduces you for the first time to the choices that characters will need to make in Season 4.

So, what do you think?  And for those that play it, how did your group do?

Just had to reply to this, as my group totally went off the rails last night.

The meet went OK. Then outside, when the reporter walks up and starts his pitch with all the things he knew, our face KO'd him with a shock glove and stuffed him in his car's trunk. Apparently, nobody did that before, so the GM winged it and had the reporter's comm autodial for the studio. Camera drones were quick to arrive-- KE was about a minute behind. Athack was, politely put, Not Happy.

Things went back on track for that, mostly, until the Gravity Lounge, when the Hacker tripped an alarm, and didn't get going fast enough. KE got called again, the hacker didn't spoof his ID, so he got hauled out to the car. A brief shootout later had the gunslinger KO'd with S&S, a cop having some stun damage from same, the Face arrested as an associate and having been given civil charges previously. The Hacker got away thanks to the mage casting Control Thoughts on one of the cops; the mage did not get away with it and was also arrested.

At that point, the mission was a failure, the rest of the team not under arrest got a call from a completely enraged Athack telling them they were fired. And a little after that, one team member got a call from a certain chiphead on behalf of one Junior with an offer for work...

Though we screwed up by the numbers, an interesting-fun mission as far as we got.
Life is short, the night is long, and we still have ammo.

It can't have been all bad when the GM awards Karma (and notoriety, street cred, and notoriety) when he says, "And +1 karma because you amuse me."

no, its not bad at all when that happens.

thats a good thing, to amuse the GM, esp. if he has run the mission several times and seen repeat actions.

runners get job
runners get accosted by reporter
get run though the gauntlet
runners finsih the mission

sounds like you guys broke the mold. thumbs up

I'll pass that on to the rest of the group, I'm sure they'll appreciate it!
