You can have capes. You just need to be in places like Tir Tairngir. ;)
Pass.

Well, with digital TV transmissions happening now, there's going to be a lot of more civilian Freqs cleared up.

Back on topic, however.  Gear we love in Shadowrun:  I gotta go with some kind of armoured long coat.  Lined Coat is nice and traditional, but sometimes it doesn't fit in with where you are, so a Mortimer of London Greatcoat is a fine substitute.

We can't have capes, but what's a long coat but a cape with sleeves?  ;D

A nice armored long coat is one instance where you get both style and substance.

Especially if you get a lot of pockets.

That's the only thing really lacking in my own Australian-Style duster.

Sew 'em on on the inside, CanRay. That way they're hidden pockets!

Inside and outside.  Explains the bulges when you have legal stuff on the outside and accessible.

Fill 'em with Stuffers if you have a Suprathyroid Gland!

No, no.  You just need to go places.  Like the opera.  They have (or had, at least) at least one full-length gentleman's cape in Shadowrun, specifically mentioning the opera and high society.  Tells me that no matter what the ladies posted in Attitude, some old styles are still around in certain segments of society, for certain occasions.

*ponders a Sharp-Dressed man, who wears things like top-hat and tails on a Shadowrun*  They'd certainly look at the outfit, not the face ...

Then find out his name is beard, and he's the only one in his entourage that doesn't have one.  :P
