Now the fun question would be is there a factory-level master code, ie each watch has their own custom signal but does the manufacturer have a master signal they can use to release a gun.
That could make for a fun scenario where you use this to set some other guy up to take a fall by using his gun via the master signal so that the cops have to suspect the owner since by their logic he could have been the only person able to use the gun since he never was without the watch.....

The technology behind this is nifty - if only the smart system could be installed aftermarket on any gun. I don't want a .22 for anything other than target practice with my daughter. :P Plus, I have no idea if this gun is actually any good or not. Looks like you can't do a lot of customization to it, like grips and such. Still, the concept is there and it looks like it works. I especially like the barrel lock though - that's especially a nice touch. I do find it interesting that the special edition has an American flag on it. Must be because we love our guns so much. :)

They need to add a vocal element so if the wristband is not in range to unlock the gun and you try to fire it then chimes in with a helpful "I'm sorry Dave, I can't let you do that." :P
An aftermarket kit would definitely be of interest to many folk, but again that may take a bit for them to finetune it.
