I am curious what the pattern is that is created by the Bifrost. It looks like a Celtic something but more than that I can't find out. When I first saw it it looked familiar but I can't remember exactly what it is.

I don't think it's anything in particular, just a very elaborate celtic knot symbol. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a screen grab of it this morning.

Well, you know what they say: "When you can find it, hack it."

Very much based on Viking-age Norse motifs. I do see similarities to the classic Mjolnir image in several spots there (cf. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mjollnir.png).
"If you are expecting a rousing speech, or a cunning plan that will get us out of this, I will have to disappoint you. I don't have any. We either do this, or we die. And the world dies with us."
"I paid quite a lot to get all of you here. I expect you to give me my money's worth. Shogun out."
