I was thinking starting off in 2069, then going into Emergence, using Flashbacks of The ACHE and Chrash 2.0 to explain the fear of Technos.  Then straight into Ghost Cartels, then into the Shadowrun World at large.

I guess it also depends on how much background events we want to bring into this - do we want a character based story, or an events based story?

I can't think of a good series that is event based.  All good TV and Movie series are character driven.  I think we should do that.

I do find it ironic and interesting that i would come across this topic. as it happenes i am writng a script fo a movie based off of shadowrun right now. As it stands i am trying to get permission from the coppyright holders to beable to continue with this once it is completed. so if anyone has any characters or what not that they think would be good to integrate into this. or matirial i should read to help me out go ahead and shoot me an email (located on my profile) i look forward to hearing what ideas you have. and i do hope i get teh permissions to get this idea off of the drawing board otherwise ill just ave a screenplay i cant do anything with.

Well, a good spellchecker will get those kinds of mistakes in the revisions, but they won't pick up word misusage. There's glory for you!

Started working on the script, and made some headway with getting a hold of Topps (actually managed to talk with people and got the numbers of who else i need to go through, instead of getting answering machines) i'm looking forward to see where this goes, and in the absolute worse case scenario is they don't give me permissions, and i keep writing the script to refine it and keep trying. hell the entire process of writing this script is immensely enjoyable
