lol... yes.
Well it maybe just me, but I read bnc as very offensive for several post already explaining the escalation. I think that it is intentional tough.

I had almost forgotten that Slobber has a horseshoe stuck up his ass.

Yes it is.

Horseshoes are considered symbols for good luck by some.

I am not sure who is the best negotiator (Yael has 10 dice for it).
If she is the leader:
Ettiquete: 5d6t5 2
Teamwork:
Ettiquete teamwork: 4d6t5 0
(oh she has 1 more dice - but it does not help - I rolled both for negotiation and for teamwork, sorry :( )

Yael is not a skilled negotiator and will have just a single dice of negotiation, so I hope somebody else has some negotiation skills. Because as it seems now she'll have just a single dice for negotiation and will not be able to get teamwork.

My dice pool is -4. I'm not sure bnc can contribute. Not that she would, anyway.

I thought we had asked for a breakfast meeting to be scheduled with this guy, I wouldn't just show up on the guy's doorstep.

Yael is better than Flatline, so I will leave the negotiations to her.  I will roll my Ettiquette and let you pull the dice you need to.

Well Yael has no negotiation skills, she has naturally high charisma and could augment it with magic, but when meeting a mage I was not sure how socially acceptable it is.

Huh? If you did I notice it IP. I asked you if you didn't want to contact him already in the evening but as far as I remember, you said early morning was good enough.

In Austria, we celebrate Christmas Eve rather than Christmas day. Since it's already 11pm, I wish you all frohe Weihnachten!

Apologies for the lull, holidays and whatnot.  I will post this evening.

Christmas is always a busy time.

I just hope, now that Christmas is over, everything goes a bit smoother than before. When we started this, we agreed to roughly one post per player per day, except for weekends or holidays or personal events that keep one from posting.
Since we left the base on Dec 12th, there have been a total of 25 player posts (i.e., gm posts not counted). This is an average of 8 per week, where we agreed on about 30. Or 25, if we don't count badneighbor, who hasn't posted in two months or longer.
I'm not saying that the forum is more important than real life. But especially those short posts don't take more than 2 or 3 minutes, and if we want to keep this game up, we should post a little bit more frequently (this is explicitly not directed at gilga or Jack).

Looking forward to 2017!
Happy new year!

I have thus collected 31 Karma, of which I use 30 to raise Intuition to 6.

Do we have to pay any lifestyle costs (already)?
I'm ready to go for part 2! :)

EDIT: I guess we're gonna need someone to steer the boat. Now the question is, what are we going to do with Kite? If she's coming along as a NPC, I guess she could invest some of the karma into the skill. If we let the char vanish, I guess, bnc will have to do the task. In that case, I'd wait a bit to raise Intuition, and invest in this instead.

Well Yael has natural high 5 reaction that can be boosted to 9 with a dash of magic - so a level or two with pilot water craft makes her a good skipper. Though, perhaps bnc is the better potential skipper - due to the control rig.  Also improved reaction spell can also be shared around.

For now I'd just keep Kite as an NPC and have her remote rig from the base, so you effectively have two support characters around.
