Still on the fence here...not really sure why. HBS have a proven track record and I've really enjoyed their SRR games. I think that some of the pledge levels are really interesting...sigh...not computing. I think it may have something to do with the delivery date...May 2017...long ways off...back to the fence.

Do you like BattleTech?
If the answer is yes, kick in $25 for the game. If the answer is no, don't.
Like PS said, you don't
have to go for all the bells and whistle packages. All the bonus stuff is nice but not essential to just enjoying the game.
Yes, a May 2017 delivery date does seem a long ways off.
However I can respect a realistic delivery date they can meet than some overly ambitious promised delivery date that sounds good to the crowds, but they probably don't have a chance in hell of making.
Personally I have gone in on the $50 level just because I do like Stackpole's work and the bonus e-novella are worth it, especially as the levels rise there are potential for extra e-novella.
