I also recommend we do a secondary scene type thing like "Meanwhile, back with the Wyld Stallyns" so we can have Trisk, Imveros and Co. still have something to do while we normal-types do the boring legwork.

Sounds Good.  Scene A is the Ball.  Scene B is the Stallions out raising some hell themselves (or the rest of the team doing stuff).

Right now you have one person who's asked you to determine the results of an election before it's announced/voted on, while the other has asked you to sway the election in her way.  Both require you to get the missing person to the capital to cast the vote.  Doesn't seem to contradict one another.
