Tedd speeds up toward the man, and as he does he hears a gunshot. With the adrenaline surging he is unsure if he was hit or not - at that moment all he want to do is to get it over. Tedd hopes that the his trusted buggy will get the job done, as in a direct confrontation he is uncertain if he can defeat or even out run the biker.
I think we should roll initiative on who goes first but, okay: Tedd is not exactly durable he has body of 3 and armor jacket + helmet (total of 17 body + armor). He will use interrupt action (evasive driving/full defense) to add 3 points of willpower to his defense roll, lowering his initiative from 26 to 16.
First phase:

Dodge + Full defense: 12d6t5 3
I think that usually the attacker rolls first - so here I get to decide - if he has 4 or more hits - then I'll spend edge to re-roll failures.
reroll faliures (if needed): 9d6t5 4

if Tedd is hit , we'll have to see how well his armor protects him.
resist damage: 17d6t5 8

Tedd's attack:
Pilot ground craft +1: 16d6t5 6
(limit is 5 - due to the limitations of the buggy).
It should do to the man 14P -6AP if Tedd hits.

The haphazard spray from the sub-machine gun actually clips the guy knocking him just enough off course for you eject him down range as the Morgan slams into his hip with a sickening crunch.  You realize your shoulder is a bit sore, you have a nice new bullet hole in your jacket and a little bruising but are otherwise fine.  The guy laying in the field does not appear quite so lucky,  One of his legs is bent underneath him  at an impossible angle with a bit of bone sticking through his thigh.  He's not quite dead, but he's going to wish he was as soon as the shock wears off and the pain kicks in.
I took you running him down to be your action and gave him a chance to react before you actually collided.  If combat had continued I would have had you roll it.  You took no damage.
Tedd bolts out of the buggy holding his gun and tell the injured man, "Drop it... it is over", Tedd secure's the mans gun, and searches his pockets for comlink and any additional nasty surprises. He asks the other thug "Do you guys have a medic kit?"  with a mental note Tedd sends a message to Oz >> We got him, what about you? Need a hand, I can help through the matrix even. He also sends the fly spy to the general direction of Oz just in case Tedd need eyes there.

You aren't even sure the guy can hear he's barely holding on to consciousness and bleeding fast.  You find his Ruger a few meters from where he lays and he has a metalink on him along with a certified credstick.  The other ganger with you has finally had the brilliant idea to cut the straps he and his unconscious friend are tangled  and tossed one to you.  A medkit?  for him?   just tie a tourniquet  on him until we get him back to Gundersons people.

You caught him alive?  Good deal I'll take care of this one and head over to you.

Your drone gets there just in time to see Oz swirl the bayonet on the end of his gun in the bikers guts and he turns and starts trotting your way.  You tie on the tourniquet and Oz walks up to the buggy and puts a briefcase into the passenger seat then wipes the blade off with a bloody rag.  Oh, that dudes fucked, did you run him over?  Nice!

He leans over the guy and hefts him into the back of the buggy.  You two will have to wait here.  I'll send someone for ya.

Let's get moving Teddy this guy doesn't have all night.  Not by a long shot.

Tedd pockets the credstick with the skill of master thief, if Oz gets to pull him out of bed at night Tedd might as well get a little bonus out of it.
Palming: 10d6t5 4
He also grabs the comlink and the gun but makes no special effort to hide that.

The biker guy is a mess, lucky to be alive and while Tedd is no killer he feels bad for him as he assumes that should he survive the drive torture is what follows. Still alive is better than then dead and Tedd places the tourniquet on the guy and then carefully place him in the gunner seat. This time Oz is standing up, but the ride is not going to be as wild - hopefully.

Where to Oz? Asks Tedd and since the comlink has such a joke of security Tedd hacks it on the way. He spends the ride distracting himself from the massive cleaning he will have to do tomorrow. I just washed my bug, dammit.  "Lets see who you are biker dude" he thinks as he browses through the comlink memory and stored files.
Since it has firewall of 1 and Tedd can buy 2 hits, no need to even roll the dice.

The clubhouse.  Oz says.  You know exactly where that is.  That's Vesuvius, the best place ever.  It's a combination bar strip club and bathhouse.  Backrooms have hot tubs, upstairs has massage beds rented by the hour.  The cover charge keeps the dregs out.  While upstairs is heaven, the basement is basically the opposite.  This is where most of Gunderson's boys hang out, you've heard whispers about what goes on in there especially to those with "special invitations" as mr. compound fracture undoubtedly has received.

Oz puts another com in your shirt pocket.  Go ahead and crack that one too, he was the guy carrying the loot.

Mr compound fracture goes by Keith Tobias.  From his online profile he apparently like rough sex with leather chains and whips he has a selfie...okay you didn't really want to see that apparently he took a picture of his penis with an apparently brand new dolphin piercing based on the swelling and blood.  That is a picture you are not likely to forget.  All in all it's nothing much you haven't seen before but there is a message from a Danny Forsythe about the job tonight.  Danny you soon discover is mr swirly guts.  It seems he was put on the trail of this job by a person code named Flicker, no fixer or other intermediary but apparently the location of the reps meet site was leaked to these guys.  You've never heard of a Flicker though.

Tedd drives to the Vesuvius, he tries to be reasonably calm in his driving although it goes against his instincts. In his hacking efforts he say, Mr. blood stained seats goes by the name of Kith Tobias, the one you wasted is Danny Forsyth and he got this gig from someone named Flicker,  do you know him?   Tedd is very sensitive to the response of Oz to the name Flicker trying to gauge if he knows anything.
Judge intention to gauge his emotional response, if any and then con check if he lies about it.
 Judge intentions + resist con check: 2#10d6t5 1 5
Tedd then tries to remember if anyone he knows in the shadow community goes by the name Flicker, he augments his memory with a brief matrix search for Danny - that got the direct communication from Flicker and then tries to cross reference Flicker with the people Danny is in contact with as well scans shadow forums and other sources for a reference to the name in a sahdowy or criminal context. Anything to keep Tedd of thinking about what they just did to these bikers and from the hours of work he will spend cleaning his gunner seat from blood once they are done.

If Oz knows this Flicker he doesn't show it, but he does raise his eyebrows at the name Forsythe.  Forsythe huh?  He ran a crew with the Blood Brothers but they operate out of Auburn.  What the fuck are they doing here and if they were heading back to Auburn they sure were taking the scenic route.  Something doesn't smell right.

By the time you pull up to Vesuvius no one has heard of a Flicker, maybe he's new, and you get the same info on Forsythe as what Oz said.

You did good Teddy, here's a fifty, go get yourself a lap dance or something before you talk to Gunderson...Maybe leave your coat though, you're kind of a mess.  Oz chuckles as he drags Keith off to the assortment of pain that awaits him.

Tedd pockets the money and nods at Oz, he enters the nightclub. A lap-dance is the furthest thing in his mind instead, he enters toilets and refreshes up a bit trying to achieve a more respected outlook. He seats by the bar and orders a beer. That was quite a night - or a nightmare he thinks as he browses the place to figure out the coming and going and the security layout of the place.

He looks both at physical security and even takes a look at the place in the matrix. Tedd is not really paranoid there, he needs a distraction from the temptations of that place. He believes that places like that are disrespectful towards women and the guilt he'll feel afterwards or the disappointed look in his parent's eyes does not worth a moment of pleasure. If his mother ever finds up that Tedd has been to a place like that, or had a lap dance, or worse run-over a guy on purpose, she will be heart broken. Still, there is work Tedd and leisure Tedd and while work Tedd gets things done, leisure Tedd tries to keep things civilized.

Tedd waits patiently for Gunderson, perhaps once he has some money of his own and a real car, he will also have a girlfriend. Then he can enjoy all these forbidden, delicious sexual delicacies without feeling this terrible guilt. In the meantime, there are debts and a single car with no doors and with blood stains on the seat. That car would not get him any romantic dates in the foreseeable future but it is a killer for off-road driving... "At least I have that pleasure in my life." He thinks.

Tedd will seat at the bar and exchange casual conversation with the bartender until Gunderson is ready to see him. When he is summoned he will tip the bartender 50 nuyen from the Credstick Oz gave him.

After about an hour you start to assume if you had assumed too much.  You comm pings and verifies it.  Gunderson is calling.

You enjoying Vesuvius that much?  Come on by The next round when you are done.  I'm going to knock 2500 off your debt to me this month and front you 500 so you can get your car and clothes cleaned up.  You did good.  I might have more work for you soon.

As it is you are getting tired you were just woken from a deep sleep and now that the adrenaline is wearing off you are getting sleepy.

Tedd replies Thank you Gunderson, that is fair. Thanks for giving me this opportunity, I'll be right at your office. Better make it quick so that I can drive home safely.

Tedd tips the Bartender girl, he then stops again by the restrooms to freshen up and wash his face. He is clearly tired, getting that debit down a bit is a nice twist for that night, though Tedd knows that he'll need many nights like that to finish the debt and even then, he'll still need to sustain himself somehow.

"Face it lad, Gunderson owns you for a long time now."  he thinks.

With a more practical note he thinks
" I am still short for monthly rent, perhaps Gunerson can allow me to make something extra by restoring Oz's car, either that or strip and recycle it for parts. Will give me something to do until there is job again."

Tedd venture to the basement where he knows Gunderson is, with a bit of awe as he has never been there before.
I'd suggest you read the other Preludes.  The Next Round is a bar, it and Vesuvius are two different places.
You drive a few miles to The Next Round.  This is your typical dive bar.  As you enter a little of the ever present smoky haze flows out into the nighttime air.  The bar extends along one side with antique spinning red and chrome bar-stools.  At the end of the bar is a staircase with flights leading up and down.  The pale dark-haired girl in a red Beret is known as Scout and the Troll with dreadlocks, beatnik beard and John Lennon glasses is Zenith though you've heard Scout call him Zen a few times and you think that might be more fitting, but you are terrified to be so informal with either of them.  You have seen them deal with troublemakers and the impression that was left was they should be called ma'am and sir respectively.  Two rows of booths take up the rest of the room and in the far corner you see the old ork scowling into his PDA.
When you spell it The next round - I understand finish your round of beer and come by, not  "go to some bar named The Next Round".
Tedd enters the dive, his eyes are searching for Gunderson until he finds him at one of the booths at the corner. Tedd walks straightly toward him but do not seat, instead Tedd stands few meters from the old orc and waits patiently until the fixer notices him.

Gunderson glances over at you and places a cred stick on the table and pushes it toward you, then goes back to reading his PDA..  He mutters under his breath Don't spend it all in one place.

Tedd takes the credstick and say "About the car at my place, I can restore it right there where it is. I do not have all the tools yet but I will get them."
